FAQs
How does SenseSpray work?
When a SenseSpray camera sees a weed it triggers a solenoid to spray just the weed. Using our patent pending algorithm we maximise the ability to identify weeds at speeds up to 18km/hr. Each SenseSpray camera processes its own data minimising latency in triggering a spray solenoid.
What are the main components?
The SenseSpray system is comprised of:
SenseSpray cameras and lighting kit mounted to the boom, 12v Power and Communications Hub is mounted to the centre section of the boom. A Button pad in the cabin, along with ISOBUS interface and the SenseSpray app, for setup and operation.
Why is SenseSpray different?
Taking the experiences with spot spraying from growers and resellers focused the team on accurate weed detection, a simple design removing complexity in installation, use, support and serviceability.
What sprayers does SenseSpray fit to?
SenseSpray has been designed to be fitted to most new and infield sprayers with model specific and generic kits available to unlock spot spraying capability.
SenseSpray camera modules are 'daisy chained' allowing for fitment to booms from 1 to 48m.
Can SenseSpray work with my sprayer technology?
The system can work with or independently from the main spraying system allowing an operator in most cases to blanket spray or spot spray via a single switch. With Raven Hawkeye II can bus integration, and also an ISOBUS interface for most UT displays Sensespray adds value and simplicity to your sprayer technology.
What is displayed on the SenseSpray app?
Virtual boom displays the cameras and solenoids that are being triggered, along with the current percentage of solenoids on time.
Settings- speed, weed size and sensitivity.
Each camera can be tested, and images captured to observe the trigger points on weeds or fine-tune settings.
No service tool is required! Update the app online, connect to the SenseSpray Hub then upgrade the whole SenseSpray system. All settings are stored on the SenseSpray Hub meaning even if your phone or tablet goes flat SenseSpray will continue to operate.
