Co-Founder and Business Manager, Rob Johnson, brings decades of ag expertise to the Agtecnic team, having lived and breathed agriculture since finishing school. 

Over the years, he has gained diverse experience working on farms, in agronomy, and in ag businesses such as Leica Geosystems and CNH.

Having worked both on-farm and behind the scenes, Rob noticed Australian farmers were lacking autonomous solutions that suited Australia’s unique growing conditions. 

Taking the chance to assist farmers in their operations, Rob founded Agtecnic in 2020 with his business partner, Peter to help address this gap.

In his role, Rob oversees the overall business operation, focusing on managing internal and external communications, as well as coordinating training and support for customers. 

When he’s not working, Rob loves to keep up-to-date with the current sports season—especially the NRL, as a fan of the Broncos.

Co-Founder, R&D and Production Manager, Peter Roberts, brings over 20 years of engineering expertise to the Agtecnic team.
Beginning his engineering career at a start-up and Leica Geosystems, Peter moved into agricultural engineering at CNH in 2013,
progressing through the ranks to lead a global product development team.
After years of experience on global R&D projects, Peter joined Co-Founder, Rob, to establish Agtecnic in 2020.
In his role, Peter oversees R&D and production, ensuring a seamless transition from R&D to market-ready products with a focus on
quality management and delivering innovative solutions that excel in Australia’s rugged conditions.
Outside of the office, Peter is a dedicated family man and enjoys spending time and travelling locally and abroad with his loved ones.
